Refund policy

All sales are final

Everything sold here is final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

Every piece is either one of a kind, made to order for you, or an intimate garment — and in each case a returned item cannot simply go back on the rack. Please read the listing carefully before you buy, and message us with any question at all before ordering. We would far rather answer a question than disappoint you.

This is stated on every product page, above the Add to Cart button, before you pay, and you confirm it at checkout.

You can cancel before it ships

Final sale does not mean you are locked in the moment you click. You can cancel for a full refund:

• Ready-to-ship items — any time before the order has shipped.
• Made-to-order and customized pieces — any time before cutting or alteration begins. Once the fabric is cut or a vintage piece has been altered for you, it cannot be cancelled, because it cannot be sold to anyone else.

To cancel, email divadowndress@gmail.com with your order number as soon as you can. Refunds go to the original payment method within 7 working days.

If we are running late, you can always cancel

If we are going to miss the shipping time stated on the product page, we will email you before that date passes with a new date and the option to cancel for a full refund. If we cannot give you a definite new date, or the new date is more than 30 days later, you may cancel and be refunded in full. Refunds in this situation are always money back to your original payment method — never store credit.

What final sale never covers

Final sale does not apply to anything that is our fault. If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or materially different from how it was described, contact us within 3 days of delivery with photographs and we will refund or replace it.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable law.

Before you buy — please use these

• Vintage: every listing has flat measurements in inches, a condition grade, and a photograph of every flaw. The size on the label is not reliable; the measurements are.
• Made to order: you can send your own measurements with your order and the piece will be cut to them, at no extra cost.
• Still unsure? Email divadowndress@gmail.com. We will measure anything again, take another photograph, or talk you out of something that will not fit.
